If you were not working in the construction industry what would you like to work in?

If I wasn’t in construction I would like to study historical preservation or archeology. I have always been interested in the history.

Tell us about projects you are currently working on.

I currently starting to work on a modular project for the Town of Nantucket. We are prefabricating the wood wall panels on the mainland and shipping them over with windows and electrical boxes. Additionally this project is a design-build project, which has required much coordination on all levels.

What would you tell anyone who is thinking about joining NAWIC?

You would be part of a wonderful group of women who will support, teach, and mentor you. You will learn the industry, learn about yourself, and meet many new people.

What do you hope to achieve being on the 2017-2018 Board?

As, the Northeast Region Membership Chair, I am eager to reaching out to more of the women in our industry who aren’t connected with NAWIC. Through the support of National, I am looking forward to support our region’s chapters with their membership questions and concerns, as well as strengthening our region!

What are your hobbies/interests?

I enjoy crafting! I have refinished a few pieces of furniture. I have been very slowly been working on my golf skills.

What is your Go-to Karaoke song?

It’s raining men. NAWIC Northeast Region Classic.

If you didn’t have to sleep what would you do with the extra time?

Read more. I have many half read books.
